(More customer reviews)5 Minute Fan is a huge misnomer - It takes a while to install a ceiling fan properly, even if (as in my case) everything has been pre-wired and prepped.It takes 5 minutes just to get the package open and sort out all the hardware.Wiring and mounting the fan is probably another 20-30 min depending on individual circumstances.But I digress, the fan itself is nice, I have two older Hunter ceiling fans that are nearly identical.The older fans are still whisper quiet, as are the new ones, so I have confidence in the quality of Hunter's products.
The one "gotcha" on this item that the lighting fixture only supports fluorescent light bulbs.Had this been mentioned ANYWHERE on Amazon's product description I would have searched for a similar fan that uses traditional incandescent light bulbs.Thankfully I don't often use the lights on the fan units, so it isn't a major upset, but it should definitely be called out somewhere.
