(More customer reviews)Okay, here's the good:Fan looks and works great.The remote, which is battery-powered, can be configured as either a wireless wall switch or as a hand-held remote, a cool feature.Fan motor is quiet.A bag of spare parts is a thoughtful idea (although they were ultimately un-needed).The bad:Instructions are really tough to follow.No page labeling part names and quantities.No "exploded" view showing names of parts that are referred to in the instructions.Photos are small, and since they look to be reproduced (poorly) on a photocopier, hard to understand.I had to guess repeatedly, sometimes wrongly, what they meant.To sum up:fan gets 5 stars, instructions get 1 star; but since you only use the instructions once I give it 4 stars overall.Still, I wish Monte Carlo would download an installation manual from Casablanca and see how a manual is REALLY done.
