(More customer reviews)I bought this fan refurbished from amazon, rather than paying about $100 from HD.After opening the box, there is no way to tell it was refurbed.Everything was wrapped, no scratches or dents.I'll also point out the seller here on Amazon was very quick to ship.
I've been pretty satisfied with it so far.The installation directions could have been better (they were saying you need to reinforce the electrical box with a 2x4.I think code requires you to use a box with metal "wings".They also said you should sink some wood screws through the box into said 2x4, which I don't think is allowed by code).
Once it was installed, it had a wobble at high speed.They include a balancing kit, and that seems to get rid of most of it.I have it in a bedroom, and I don't think I'll run it on high too often.It moves A LOT of air.
Anyway, I highly recommend it.Just take the directions for what their worth.
