(More customer reviews)In case you need to prep your area ahead of time the daimeters of the holes are 4" and 6" and the full diameter is actually 15.5". I wanted to put it under a light fixture but the internal diameter was a bit too small so you should should make sure where your light touches the ceiling is a little less than 6". It is made of hard plastic so I wonder how well paint will stick to it, but thats a concern for the future since my ceiling is white. I find it a nice frugal add on if it goes with your room.
