Switch looked like a piece of junk the minute I unpacked it.
Needs a full 2" box as the wires come out the back although there's plenty of room for them to come out the sides.If you have a new home or a switch box in your range hood, make sure its large enough.
No strain relief on any wires.
Bracket a bit too large to fit flush in an electrical box.Thus, the plate sticks out.Need to trim 1/8th inch off each end.
Not a solid state switch.Its a cheap rotary.
Feels like junk with the knob wobbling the minute you touch it.
Did not work as a variable switch (new 2 amp fan installation).Only worked on/off.
You know where its made.
